SCOPE OF SERVICES: The City of Palm Coast is seeking Bids from qualified Contractors for intersection safety improvements along BelleTerre Parkway. Qualified Contractors are those determined to be responsible and responsive in accordance with all requirements of thisbid process. The project consists of the installation of turn lanes; curb and gutter; signal improvements; paving; milling and resurfacing;and drainage improvements. The project limits are from the intersection of Belle Terre Pkwy and Royal Palms Pkwy to the Northernintersection of Belle Terre Parkway and Pritchard Dr. The project limit is approximately 2 miles. The project is an off-system project withno impact on the on-system road. Intent to Bid Due Date:Jul 7th 2025, 8:00 AM EDT Questions Due Date:Jun 16th 2025, 2:00 PM EDT Question Deadline 06/19/2025 Intent to Bid Due Date: Jul 7th 2025, 8:00 AM EDT Improvements during roadway construction include clearing and grubbing, removal of existing concrete, excavation, embankment,stabilization, optional base, asphalt construction, milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, sodding, maintenance of traffic(including traffic signal modifications), traffic separator, curb and gutter, landscaping, concrete sidewalks, and erosion control. Drainagemodifications include the installation of headwall, pipe culverts, manholes, inlets, mitered end sections, and regrading of swales. CONTRACT TIME: The total construction time to achieve Substantial Completion on both sites is three hundred and thirty-eight (338)consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional thirty (30) consecutive calendar days to achieveFinal Completion. BID SECURITY/BID BOND: A Bid Bond shall accompany each Bid if the Bid amount is onehundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or greater.The Bid Bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid price and shall be made payable to the City as a guaranteethat the Bidder will not withdraw his/her Bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Bid closing time. PERFORMANCE, PAYMENT, & MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP BONDS: In the event the Contract is awarded to the Successful Bidder andwill enter into a written Agreement with the City and furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in an amount equal to the ContractPrice. The Material and Workmanship Bond shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price as adjusted on the FinalApplication for Payment.
