As of June 04, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The designated work and improvements referred to as BACKYARD DRAINAGE IMPROVE-MENTS 2025 shall include the installation of new public storm sewers and appurtenances at various locations within the Village of Arlington Heights. This work will include, but is not limited to, curb and gutter removal and replacement; sidewalk removal and replacement; storm sewer installation of sizes between 8" and 12" of either PVC or RCP pipe; concrete sewer structure installation; bituminous pavement patching. The locations for this work are shown in the Contract Documents. This work shall be to the requirements as indicated in the Contract Speci-fications. The Affidavit of Availability must be submitted with the proposal, showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award for Federal, State, County, Municipal and private work. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130/), the IDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted January 1, 2022, and the IDOT Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions, adopted January 1, 2025. Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions. All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier's check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompa-nied by such security. The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village.
