The Mason County Public Service District is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide planning, design, and construction management services for various wastewater system improvements and extensions projects the PSD may undertake from time to time. The selected consultant will be required to (1) prepare preliminary engineering report(s), (2) design and prepare construction drawings, bid specifications and bid documents, (3) provide assistance in obtaining easements and other property if necessary; (4) surveying and mapping; (5) preparation of all necessary permit applications; (6) evaluate bids received and make recommendation of award, (7) monitor and inspect construction activities to insure compliance with plans and specifications, (8) review and approve contractors pay estimates and (9) any other services needed by the PSD for the implementation of the project(s). The selected firm shall be retained throughout all phases of the project(s). Contracts are to be awarded on a lump sum/fixed fee basis The Mason County PSD reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
