Project Description: The project consists of miscellaneous roof repairs to address deteriorated roof conditions on 5 buildings within the David Bradley complex. Building 1: Approximately 40,200 SF roof with an existing top layer of smooth modified bitumen. Scope includes installing a fleece back 60 mil TPO membrane on existing modified bitumen roofing. Scope includes salvaging and reinstalling existing gutters, installing new metal roof edging, and other work as outlined in the bidding documents. Building 7: Approximately 65,620 SF roof with an existing TPO membrane top layer. Scope calls for the removal of the existing TPO membrane and installing a TPO membrane. Project also includes the removal and replacement of metal roof edging and other work as outlined in the bidding documents. Project also contains three alternates consisting of an additional approximate 200,000 SF of roof repairs. Please see specification section 01 23 00 "Alternates Form" for alternate scope of work. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond and separate Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to the bid value inclusive of alternates and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bid security shall be submitted in the amount of one percent (1%) of the bid amount, including alternates. A bid bond or cashier's check may be provided. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
