The Project Involves Bridge Rehabilitation Efforts to the Single Span Composite Steel I-beam Bridge Carrying Sr 6 Over Norfolk Southern Railroad. The Project Includes Concrete Deck Repair With Application of an Epoxy Overlay to the Bridge Deck/sidewalk, Substructure Concrete Repairs, Bridge Cleaning, Spot Painting of Steel Beams, and Refacing Concrete Retaining Walls Adjacent to the Bridge. Roadway Improvements Associated With the Project Include Repair of the Protective Fence Adjacent to the Sidewalk Crossing the Bridge and Minor Pavement Grade Adjustments to Accommodate the New Bridge Overlay. The Deck Repairs and Overlay Application is Expected to Be Constructed in Three Stages While Maintaining Two Lanes of Vehicular Traffic. Pedestrian Traffic Will Be Maintained at All Times During Construction and Will Be Protected on the Bridge Deck During Application of the Overlay on the Sidewalk.
