The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to perform planned (by the route) tree pruning, brush and small tree removal services, in accordance with the specifications herein, within the Richmond District along the right-of-way within the counties of Amelia, Brunswick, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, New Kent, Nottoway, Powhatan, and Prince George. The purpose of this activity is to address vegetative hazards located in the ROW (ex. vertical/horizontal clearances, clear zones, sight distances, impacting assets, etc.). From date of award through June 15, 2026. (non-renewable) Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be submitted in writing to nasir.chhipa@vdot.virginia.gov no later than 5 business days, prior to the closing date. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised.
