Site work and new construction of a civil project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
As of January 16, 2026, this project has not yet started construction but is moving forward as planned. All subcontracts and purchases will be managed directly from the jobsite according to the general contractor. A general contractor has been identified. Description : The Wet Weather Pump Station (WWPS) project consists of the construction of a new pump station that will support the Wet Weather Plant Expansion. This contract involves constructing the WWPS building and the approximately 150' deep shaft that will work in conjunction with the new regional tunnel system to provide an additional 120 MGD of flow capacity to the plant. The WWPS will include all provisions for the necessary equipment such that the pump station is fully operational upon completion. Coordination with be required with the Ohio River Tunnel contractor regarding the connection at the WWPS shaft.
