The Town of Gillam is calling tenders for the Airport Runway Resurfacing and Associated Drainage project in Gillam, Manitoba. The Project must be completed by August 31, 2025, within 45 working days A partial listing of the works is as follows: Approximately 185,000 square metres of existing runway, taxiway, and apron resurfacing. Processing stockpile material to meet general conformance for current project and future maintenance. 3,250 m of ditch grading. Adjusting existing manhole frames. Televising existing LDS. Gillam Esker exploratory digging. Temporary haul road. Provisional works generally include: Supply of additional granular material as required. 7,500 square metres of topsoil and seeding. 2,650 m of ditch regrading. Supply and install 70,000 square metres of EK35. Lowest or any bid may not necessarily be accepted. The Bid Bond shall be in an amount equal to 10% of the total tendered price including Goods and Services Tax (GST) for ITEMS 1 to 20 inclusive of the Form of Tender. The Bid Bond shall be valid for ninety (90) days and issued by a guaranty surety company licensed to carry on business in Manitoba. The Performance Bond shall be in an amount equal to 50% of the total tendered price including GST for ITEMS 1 to 20 inclusive of the Form of Tender. The Town of Gillam reserves the right in its sole discretion to accept, waive, or reject any noncompliance or irregularity, including, without limitation, the right to accept, waive, or reject noncompliance or irregularity with the tender process and/or the requirements of this Request for Quotation.
