Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Faribault, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes approximate quantities of major items as follows: Common Excavation (P) - 2,050 CY Aggregate Base Class 5 (P) - 1,100 CY Bituminous Mixture - 1,120 TN PVC Watermain - 305 LF PVC Sanitary Sewer - 415 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter - 1,690 LF Seeding, Mulch & Fertilizer - 0.90 AC. All work is to be done in accordance with the online Standard Specifications for Construction - 2020 Edition, the City Engineers Association of Minnesota Standard Specifications - 2023 Edition, and the Special Provisions. Instructions on submitting a bid electronically can be found on the online website. The cost to submit a bid is $25. Bids must be accompanied by a corporate surety bond made in favor of the City of Faribault for at least 5% of the total bid amount. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 30 days.
