Renovation of a mixed-use development in Steilacoom, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project consists of furnishing and installing two (2) Level 2 chargers and four (4) level 2 charging ports, all related wiring, and protective bollards as outlined in the bid specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers' check, or certified check, in the amount not less than 5% of the bid amount, with a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Washington, and no bid will be considered unless accompanied by such a bond or check. At time and place named, such bids will be opened and read, and the Town of Steilacoom staff will proceed to canvas the bids and may award the project Contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Liquidated Damages: The Project must be physically completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the notice to proceed date. Failure to complete the work within the identified time frame will result in 5% of the total award liquidated damages per month or portion thereof. The Town of Steilacoom reserves the unqualified right in their sole and absolute discretion to reject any and all bids, and to accept the bid which, in their sole and absolute judgment will, under all circumstances, best serve the interest of the Town of Steilacoom.
