Renovation of a medical facility in Whistler, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization to select a General Contractor for tenant improvements to a 1,231 square foot leased space at the Whistler Public Health Clinic in Whistler Village. The space is being renovated to meet the operational requirements of the Public Health program. The scope of work includes interior reconfiguration to accommodate new exam rooms and workstations. Construction will involve the demolition of existing interior elements, followed by the installation or modification of partition walls, millwork, doors, lighting, sprinkler systems, flooring, ceiling tiles, paint, and window coverings. Building systems will also be upgraded, including HVAC enhancements, new plumbing fixtures, electrical modifications to support medical equipment and staff workstations, and the installation of IMITS-compliant data infrastructure. The project will also include the addition of a new security system and the installation of all new furniture and clinical equipment. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 4, 2025 (subject to building permit). Anticipated Ready-for-Takeover date October 28, 2025.
