Site work for a civil project in Evadale, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed project provides for the installation of a 350 gpm water well for Evadale WCID No. 1, constructed in accordance with the latest AWWA requirements and all applicable standards. The proposed well is to be constructed at the existing well site, located on CR 849. Specifically, the District intends to conduct the following improvements: 1. Furnish and install a new well, including all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, piping, fittings, excavation, foundation, grading, embedment, backfilling, compaction, electrical and all other related waterline valves, fittings, bends, meters, and associated appurtenances. 2. Site improvements including drainage swale, disposal of all construction debris, concrete splash pad for piping drain, silt fencing, final site grading and replacing all damaged San Augustine sod, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Provide electrical installation including all equipment, grounding, conduits and conductors, connections to equipment and control equipment and all appurtenances, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 4. Construct a new 350 gpm ground water supply production well, constructed in accordance with the requirements set forth by the TCEQ and as required by AWWA A100-06 or latest version. The pilot hole and well settings have been estimated on the plans and in the proposal. The base lengths of the components shown on the plans were estimated for bidding purposes only. If the pilot hole shows that the site will support the required quantity of water for a potable water supply production well, the actual well settings and base lengths for the new well will be established from the pilot hole analysis. Assuming that Phase II is authorized by the Owner, the Contractor shall construct a water well in accordance to AWWA requirements by enlarging the pilot hole for setting of the casing, screens and blank liner and with a reinforced concrete seal block foundation, pumping equipment, piping, and accessories as shown on the contract plans and specifications Special Requirements and Clarifications 1. The Contractor shall restore the work route to its original condition or better prior to acceptance by the Owner/EWCID#1. 2. The Contractor shall contact the owner Ms. Amber Deal (EWCID#1) at (409) 276-2030 prior to starting any work within the project area. 3. Any changes in quantities will be addressed by change order and will have to be approved by the Owner before any work can be done. 4. All excess materials removed during the course of the project will have to be properly disposed of by the Contractor in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.
