The intent of this bid is to (1) secure a certified Siemens vendor to install Siemens card access readers on 6 doors at the Somerset County Clerk's Office located at Administration Building, 20 Grove Street, 1st floor, Somerville, NJ 08876 and (2) secure a time and materials contract for additional sites that may need upfits in the future. 1.2 2. General Requirements 1.2.1 A certified Siemens technician is required to complete the installation and all required configuration and programming. 1.2.2 Contractor shall provide all permits/drawings, if necessary. 1.2.3 Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary equipment rentals to complete installation. 1.2.4 Examine the existing system to determine control areas and access levels. 1.2.5 Examine the existing card database and work/communicate with the Sheriff's Office to have the 6 doors with new card readers identified, labeled, and programmed to work with the current Siemens system. 1.2.6 Test all doors for proper operation as they are placed online during the process. 1.2.7 All work will be performed during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, unless alternate arrangements are made due to a specific function or task that may interfere with normal operations of the building. 1.2.8 Although not anticipated, any minor 110 - 220 voltage work will be done by and coordinated with the Somerset County Facilities and Services Division.
