The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is soliciting bids for Flint Creek State Water Project Main Canal Improvements. The project consists of rehabilitation improvements to two sections of the Flint Creek Main Canal to address seepage, hydraulic capacity, conveyance, and improve maintenance access routes. Schedule 1 consists of installation of 1,200 feet of canal liner, upstream of the Flint Creek Main canal siphon inlet. Additive Alternate 1 consists of rehabilitating 3,850 feet of the canal, directly upstream of the Trout Creek return inlet. The work generally includes removal of excess soil and vegetation from the canal, grading and shaping the canal invert and side slopes to design elevations and grades, installation of the liner materials, installation of gravel ballast material, installation of cobble ballast, excavation and backfill of side slope anchor trenches, installation of liner terminus anchors, road surfacing, finish grading, seeding, general site cleanup after construction and incidentals. From the date this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued until an award is made and announced by the procurement officer, bidders shall not communicate with any State staff regarding this procurement, except at the direction of the procurement officer.
