Renovation of a municipal facility in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Contract # 4 - Mechanical Construction - Labor, materials and Supervision for the West Wyoming Municipal Building Elevator & Renovations. Work includes all items and accessories for a complete job. The bidder agrees to complete all work associated with the addition to the existing West Wyoming Municipal Building, Elevator & Renovations. Bids can be submitted to the West Wyoming Borough Building, 464 W 8th Street, West Wyoming, PA 18644 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bids are invited for the West Wyoming Municipal Building Elevator & Renovations for the following individual contracts: Mechanical Construction Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any Contractor who does not do so and submits a bid, does so at their own risk. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. In addition to EEO Executive Order 11246, Contractors must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 0.6% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000 as per the notice of requirement for affirmative action as contained in the contract documents. Bids may be held by the Borough of West Wyoming for a period not to exceed Sixty (60) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw their Bid. Question Deadline 07/04/2025 Every interpretation made to the bidder will be in the form of an addendum to the contract documents, and when issued, will be on file in the Office ofthe Owner and the Engineer at least five days before bids are opened. Provide overall coordination ofthe Work. Coordinate shared access to workspaces. Coordinate product selections for compatibility. Provide overall coordination oftemporary facilities and controls. Coordinate, schedule, and approve interruptions of permanent and temporary utilities, including those necessary to make connections for temporary services. Coordinate construction and operations ofthe Work with work performed by each Contract and separate contracts. Prepare coordination drawings in collaboration with each contractor to coordinate work by more than one contract. Coordinate sequencing and scheduling of the Work including a combined contractors' construction schedule for entire Project. Provide photographic documentation. Provide quality-assurance and quality-control services specified in Division 01 Section "Quality Requirements." Coordinate sequence of activities to accommodate tests and inspections, and coordinate schedule oftests and inspections. Provide information necessary to adjust, move, or relocate existing utility structures affected by construction. Locate existing permanent benchmarks, control points, and similar reference points, and establish permanent benchmarks on Project site. Provide field surveys ofin-progress construction and site work. Provide progress cleaning of common areas and coordinate progress cleaning of areas or piece of equipment where more than one contractor has worked. Coordinate cutting and patching. Coordinate protection ofthe Work. Coordinate firestopping. Coordinate completion ofinterrelated punch list items. Coordinate preparation of Project record documents if information from more than one contractor is to be integrated with information from other contractors to form one combined record. Print and submit record documents ifinstallations by more than one contractor are indicated on the same contract drawing or shop drawing. Collect record Specification Sections from contractors, collate Sections into numeric order, and submit complete set. Coordinate preparation ofoperation and maintenance manuals ifinformation from more than one contractor is to be integrated with information from other contractors to form one combined record.
