Responses to questions submitted by the above date or identified at any Information Session to be held in regard to this RFP, along with any changes or amendments to this RFP, will be available via the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website by June 25, 2025, 2:00 PM Flooring Installation at Washington Elementary School Scope:- The City of Waterbury, Department of Education (hereinafter "City"), is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for labor-only flooring installation services at Washington School. A. Background and Intent All materials--including subfloor, adhesives, LVT, and vinyl cove base--will be supplied by Waterbury Public Schools (WPS). The successful proposer will be responsible for the full installation across multiple designated areas during the summer recess. Areas of Installation o New flooring install for approximately 2850sqft of LVT o 1st floor hallways (common area below steps and area outside first floor classrooms) o Back hallway landing end of 1st floor Complete installation labor of all flooring and related materials. o Surface preparation as needed. o Installation of owner-supplied materials including: o Ultra ply subfloor o Coated staples o Fine patch o LVT flooring (multiple colors) o Adhesives o Vinyl Cove Base (VCB) o Metal bullnoses (where applicable) Areas of Installation (to be reviewed at the mandatory information session): 1. Common Hall Below Steps: o 1,300 sf of LVT 2. Main Offices: o 1,400 sf of LVT 3. First Floor Classrooms: o 1,400 sf of LVT 4. Storage Room: o 800 sf of LVT All work must be fully completed before the start of the new academic year which commences on August 12, 2025
