The project consists of installing 185 feet of sanitary sewer with manhole; installing 131 feet of eight-inch waterline with hydrant and site restoration. Bids for the said project must be signed and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Administrator of the City of Waterville and marked Prairie Trail Park Utility Extensions. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashiers check payable to the City in the amount of ten (10%) of the bid as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, he will, within fifteen (15) days of the date of such award enter into a proper and acceptable contract, otherwise, said amount accompanying his bid will be forfeited to the City of Waterville, Ohio, as liquidation damages. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Certificates of Insurance, and ORC Section 3517.13 Affidavit. The City of Waterville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to the City. The City also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in the proposal. Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Lucas County, as Determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Bidders Shall Submit With Their Bid the Affidavit Required Under Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042 That the Bidder Was Not Charged With Any Delinquent Personal Property Taxes in Lucas County, Ohio. the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Certificates of Insurance, and Orc Section 3517.13 Affidavit.
