Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the rehabilitation of a portion of the existing westside apron at the Hanover County Airport in Hanover County, VA. All work shall be as described in the Project Manual and shown on the Contract Drawings. The pre-bid meeting and site-visit is to allow potential Bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification related to any facet of this project. While attendance will not be a prerequisite to submitting a bid, Bidders who intend to submit a bid are encouraged to attend. The OWNER making copies of the Bid Documents available does so for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the Work and does not confer a license or grant of any other use. The OWNER does not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete Bid Documents. The Bid Documents shall be used in preparing bid responses. Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for 90 calendar days. At the end of the 90 days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the Bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at the time previously stated, it shall remain in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled. A Bid Security of 5% shall be required of Bids $100,000 and greater. A Performance and Payment Bond, each equaling 100% of the contract amount shall be required of a CONTRACT that is $100,000 and greater.
