This Invitation for Bids states the instructions for submitting bids, the procedure and criteria by which a contract may be awarded, and the contractual terms which will exclusively govern the contract between VDOT and the Contractor. Question Deadline 07/11/2025 at 5:00 PM ET The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver pre-cast concrete bridge slabs for Route 656 over Campbells Creek in Hanover County, Virginia. This bridge will have a 27inch concrete railing system as shown in the attached plans. The parties may agree in writing to modify the terms, conditions, or scope of the contract. Any additional goods or services to be provided shall be of a sort that is ancillary to the contract goods or services, or within the same broad product or service categories as were included in the contract award. Any increase or decrease in the price of the contract resulting from such modification shall be agreed to by the parties as a part of their written agreement to modify the scope of the contract.
