This requirement is for the replacement and repair of weapons racks at the Security Forces Armory, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project. The deliverables of this requirement are as follows fully installed and functional weapons racks, all replaced 3-Spoke Handles, and a final report documenting the work performed, including a list of all repaired/replaced components. The project shall be completed in 112 from the project start date. The Contractor shall verify all measurements and specifications during the site visit referenced in this SOW. Any discrepancies or unforeseen requirements identified during the site visit that materially affect the cost or schedule of the project must be communicated to the Contracting Officer immediately. o 2.1 Rack Replacement: o Provide and install sixteen (16) new Spacesaver Universal Weapons Racks (UWRs) with dimensions 42" wide x 16 1/8" deep x 45" high, and four (4) new Spacesaver UWRs with dimensions 42" wide x 16 1/8" deep x 61" high. Racks shall be delivered empty. Manufacturer part numbers for the racks shall be provided in the contractor's proposal. o All new Universal Weapons Racks shall have 1/2 " diameter round holes cut into the top of each rack to allow for the flow of water from fire sprinklers, consistent with existing armory rack configurations and previous Malmstrom AFB Fire Department approvals. o Cut welds on existing racks, disassemble them, and dispose of the old material in government provided trash cans. Armory personnel will handle disposal means. None of the material being removed needs any kind of special disposal method. o Transfer existing Weapons Rack Accessories from the old racks to the new racks. o 2.2 Rack Repair: o Inspect all 21 existing 3-Spoke Handles on all armory racks and replace the broken handle on one of the weapon racks. o Repair or replace any defective 3-Spoke Handles as needed. Replacement handles shall be of equivalent quality and functionality to the original handles.
