Renovation of a fire / police facility in Fort Myers, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Upgrade and replacement of main electrical service switchgear and feeders. New automatic transfer switches will replace the existing interlocked transfer switch system. A new 1600-amp main circuit breaker and main distribution panel will be installed. All work will be required to minimize power outages to the fully operational Public Safety Building. This is an Equal Opportunity project. DBE/MBE/WBE participation is strongly encouraged. Bidders may use their standard form of proposal. Bids must be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and bid instructions. All terms and conditions of the standard form subcontract of Construction Manager, available upon request, will be the governing document regardless of any statements to the contrary noted in the bidder's form of proposal. The Construction Manager reserves the right to waive any or all irregularities and informalities and to reject any and all bids for any reason.
