The City of Natchez & Board ofAldermen will receive sealedproposals for professional services on their 2024 HOMERehabilitation/ReconstructionProject. This project consists ofeight (8) substandard residential units for rehabilitation. Proposals for legal servicesfrom qualified person (s) orfirms. Legal services neededare consultation as requiredfor the implementation of theHOME project in accordancewith State of Mississippi andUnited States Department ofHousing and Urban Development (HUD) prescribed rules,regulations, and policies, in addition to State and Federal law.Title opinions are required for alleight (8) units. The proposalsshould be labeled "Legal Services Proposal". Proposals will be accepted fromtrained Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) certifiedasbestos and lead basedpaint inspectors to inspect alleight (8) units. The proposersshould be familiar with the HUD/Home Requirements, rules andregulations. The proposalsshould be labeled "Asbestos/LBP Inspection Proposal"and have a valid DEQ certification number recorded on theoutside. The selection will be based onan evaluation of the written responses. The award will bemade to the most qualified offer whose proposal is deemedmost advantageous to the Cityof Natchez; all factors considered. This solicitation is being offeredin accordance with State requirements governing procurement of professional services.Accordingly, City of Natchezreserves the right to reject anyand all proposals.
