It is the intent of the City of Alexandria to secure pricing for Liquid Chlorine, in one (1) Ton Cylinders, for use by the City of Alexandria Water and Wastewater Departments. Bid prices shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from bid award date. Orders shall be placed on an "as needed basis". Award of contract shall be made to the most qualified bidder determined by the City of Alexandria to have the best bid based not solely upon price, but a combination of price, delivery, experience, service and other considerations pertinent to the acceptability of the contract. Questions and/or clarifications of bid specifications are to be in written form, either mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the attention of Joann Swain, City of Alexandria - Purchasing Department, P.O.
