It is the intent of the City of Alexandria to secure pricing on the Testing and Maintenance of Substation Transformers, Circuit Breakers, and Related Equipment for the City of Alexandria. This service contract shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from proposal award date. Contingent upon the availability of funds, and the ability of the successful proposer to honor the quoted price(s), the City reserves the right to renew the existing contract for a period of up to two (2) additional years, in one year increments, with a sixty (60) day funding out clause. Bid Bond Requirements: A bid bond or check for N/A% of the total amount of bid. Performance Bond Requirements: In the event bid is accepted, a performance bond shall be required in the amount of N/A%. Interested vendors may contact Bobby Clifton, Substation Supervisor, at phone number (318)473-1301, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for additional information pertaining to these specifications. In comparing proposals, consideration will not be confined to price only. Award will be made to the most qualified Contractor determined by the City of Alexandria to have the best hourly rates, experience, service and other considerations pertinent to the acceptability of the contract. The City of Alexandria reserves the right to award by item or by total bid, unless otherwise specified in the bid specifications. (Price(s) should be itemized.)
