Renovation of a municipal facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Frick Pittsburgh is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for Phase Two: Exterior Repair & Restoration of Clayton. Please pass this on to any potential contractors for the project. The project will be the restoration of the Clayton exterior envelope. Work in the identified areas is expected to include: 1. Masonry: Stone mortar joint repointing and stone patching and repair; Stripping brick of surface coatings and extensive mortar joint repointing. 2. Metals: Repair and repainting of sheet metal ornament; replacement of sheet metal concealed gutter; installation of galvanized steel balustrade handrail bracing. 3. Wood: Complete removal and replacement of Third Floor wood cornice and reinstallation of its metal components; fabrication and installation of fiberglass finials at balustrade posts. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Determination project. Wages are included in the bid package.
