Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The contract work will consist of the removal/replacement of an existing culvert underneath Borough Road South Fifth Street. This includes the removal of a stone headwall with the installation of a new oversized structure. The project will also include minimal storm inlet work with associated road resurfacing and restoration. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favour of Youngwood Borough. No faxed Bids will be accepted. No Bid Bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with Youngwood Borough. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate Requirements will apply to this project. Labour Compliance is mandatory Youngwood Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received
