GREENTREE ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 3 The scope of work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 5,500 square feet of concrete sidewalk and 1,200 linear feet of concrete curb, bituminous roadway restoration, ADA ramp replacement, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. This project is being financed, in part, via the Commonwealth Financing Authority Multimodal Transportation Fund grant. Bidders to comply will applicable grant conditions. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Borough shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Borough may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Borough has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Work to tentatively begin on 6/30/2025 and be completed by 9/28/2025
