This is a Master Agreement in which the Contractor shall provide Emergency Generator Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair Services. The Contractor will be compensated for services performed in accordance with the applicable rate(s) specified on the Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet which shall include all labor, personnel, transportation (including travel, per diem, fuel, and mileage), materials, supplies, tools, any necessary equipment, permits, licenses, taxes, fees, shipping/freight charges, and every other item of expense necessary (unless otherwise specified herein) to provide services identified herein for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) locations identified on Exhibit E, List of Participating Locations. The Contractor shall provide all maintenance, inspection, and repair services necessary to maintain the optimum level of efficiency for each unit of equipment. Services shall be performed during normal business hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (may vary by location), excluding State holidays, or at a date and time mutually agreed upon between the Contractor and the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee. At the discretion of the State, equipment access may be allowed during non-business hours, when necessary. Bidders are not required to bid on all locations. See Exhibit E, List of Participating Locations. In submitting your bid, you shall comply with the instructions found herein. In addition to those programs and preferences that are specified in this solicitation, Prospective Contractors are encouraged to consider programs and preferences that are available, such as those for the use of small businesses, disadvantaged businesses, disabled veteran businesses, and other businesses covered by State and Federal programs and preferences. Please note that no verbal information given will be binding upon CDCR unless such information is issued in writing as an official addendum.
