This contract provides for maintenance of 88th Ave West from 196th St SW to 185th St SW and pedestrian improvements at various locations in Edmonds. The work includes, but is not limited to: pavement planing and removal, pavement repair, hot mix asphalt paving and walkway repair, curb ramps, minor drainage improvements, utility adjustments, property restoration, temporary erosion and sedimentation control, temporary traffic control and temporary striping, and miscellaneous work. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount equal to at least five percent of the total amount of bid, including sales tax if applicable, must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give a performance and payment bond as required. The check will be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract in conformity with the contract documents if it is awarded to him and shall provide a performance and payment bond as specified therein within ten calendar days after notification of the award of contract to the bidder.
