Furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the 2025 Roadway Treatments. This contract provides for the chip seal, scrub seal, grading, gravel addition, and fog seal of approximately 1.5 total miles of various roadways throughout the Town. Improvements include, but are not specifically limited to, bituminous surface treatment, scrub seals, fog seal, pavement markings, traffic control and other related work items. The Work shall be substantially complete within 20 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Pe Ell, Washington. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "Town of Pe Ell" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Financing of the Project has been provided by Town of Pe Ell, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The Town of Pe Ell expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal. Subject to any extensions of the Contract Time granted under the Contract, the undersigned agrees to substantially complete the Work required under this Contract within 20 working days (the Substantial Completion Date) and to physically complete the Work required under this contract within 25 working days (the Physical Completion Date) from when Contract Time begins.
