The City of Rock Island is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of an outdated fire hydrant and air gap system with a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer and water meter. The work will take place inside the control building at the Franciscan Storage Treatment Basin, located at 3001 17th Street, Rock Island, IL. All project-related inquiries should be directed to the Wastewater Treatment Supervisor at perry.lisa@rigov.org. This is an Illinois Prevailing Wage Act job. The Contractor is responsible for compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage act
