The project generally consists of cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation of approximately 19,320 linear feet of 8- inch sanitary sewers and bid-alternate 450 linear feet of 18-inch sewer, including cleaning, CCTV inspection, cutting off protruding taps, reinstating laterals, traffic control, sewer bypass pumping, and related items of work. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier s check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Twin Falls as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. City of Twin Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of City of Twin Falls.
