Renovation of an educational facility in N Richmond, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of modernizing the central kitchen, including the replacement of existing kitchen equipment, as well as the installation of new walk-in freezers and refrigerators. The scope also includes the modifications to existing utilities and finishes as needed to connect replacement equipment. then each of those subcontractors that intend to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) are required to have been prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. As security for its Bid, each Bidder shall provide with its Bid form, a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashiers check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the WEST CONTRA COSTA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. All prequalification questionnaires will be received until 4:00 p.m., June 27, 2025 must be uploaded directly to the facilitiesprocurement@wccusd.net email. The Districts Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
