**As of July 16 , 2025 , this project has been awarded to Rooks Roofing, awarded amount not available.** The City of Adairsville is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of a shingle roof at 203 N Main St Adairsville, GA 30103. Scope of Work: The contractor is responsible for the following: Demolition: Stripping off all the current shingles down to the roofing boards and disposal of materials. Certifications and Permits: The bidder will be responsible for obtaining all certificates and permits necessary to complete the project from the appropriate regulatory agencies. The City of Adairsville shall waive any applicable permitting fees normally issued by the City, but obtaining any applicable permit(s) will still be required. Utility Disconnect: Contractor to determine. Specifications: Relay of the shingles or steel Replace underlayment and decking The color of the shingles shall stay the same color; the brand is not specified Install ice and water shields, jack boots, continuous ridge vent system, drip edge, and reinstall digital satellite Reuse of Material: No materials from the project are proposed for reuse by the City. Salvage of Materials: If removal of the gutter is required, the Contractor shall attempt to save and reuse it. However, if the gutter is damaged, likely to be damaged, or in need of repair, the Contractor shall capture the cost of time and materials in proposal. Expected Condition of Site at Completion: The site shall be cleaned to per constriction activities. The City requires the Contractor to make every effort to ensure that nails and screws are removed. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The City of Adairsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate terms with the selected contractor if necessary.
