Renovation of a medical facility in Newport, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Newport Hospital & Health Services will be replacing our existing Carrier 190-ton chiller with a new Carrier 180-ton chiller, model # 30RC-1826S63HJ703. SCOPE OF WORK Permitting through the local jurisdiction having authority Structural engineering for the new chiller (additional steel I-Beams will be required due to the physical size of the new replacement chiller is not the same and structural alterations will be required for chiller support on existing frame. Isolation of power & controlssupply to equipment Recovery of refrigerant from existing chiller for disposal Removal of electrical power & controlsfrom existing chiller Isolation of chilled water piping to chiller barrel Removal of existing insulation from chilled water piping and disassembly of water piping to chiller Removal of the existing chiller utilizing crane services to dispose of chiller Installation of additional I-beam supports acrossthe chiller framework to support the replacement chiller Installation of the replacement chiller utilizing crane service to set on the existing altered framework on rooftop. Reconnection of electrical controls & power supply to new chiller Alteration & reconnection of chilled water lines to new chiller Installation of new insulation for water piping and UV insulation protection. Setup of new replacement chiller & wind baffle installation for startup of chiller
