**As of August 4, 2025, project was awarded to Blacktop Services Company, awarded amount is $92,008.50.** The 2025 CHIP SEAL PROGRAM is located on numerous City Streets within the City of Webster City, including Water Street from 50' east of Beach Street to 30' west of Prospect Street, Walnut Street from 30' east of Broadway Street to 50' west of Superior Street, and Union Street from 100' south of Second Street to 30' north of Elm Street. The project consists of approximately 5,000 linear feet of crack cleaning and filling, 24,036 square yards of bituminous seal coat (chip seal), and temporary traffic control. There is one additive bid alternate. The bid alternate includes 295 square yards of 3-inch full-depth asphalt patching at various locations across Water, Walnut, and Union Streets. This fee is refundable, provided the following conditions are met: (1) The Contract Documents are returned complete and in a reusable condition, and (2) they are returned within fourteen (14) calendar days after the award of the project. You must call 515-573-2030 in advance to reserve a paper copy.
