Woodruff Construction invites qualified firms to submit qualifications for subcontracted work for the Webster City WWTP Improvements project. The City of Webster City is undertaking improvements to its wastewater treatment plant to enhance capacity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The project is currently in the 40%-60% design development phase, with construction anticipated to begin following permitting and final design completion Please direct all project-specific questions to the Woodruff Construction Project Manager: Attn: Anthony Meinke Phone: (515) 302-0140 Email: anthonym@woodruff.build The Construction Manager intends to issue the following scopes of work as early individual subcontractor/supplier bid packages: Subcontractor Package 26-1: Electrical Subcontractor - Provide and Install all Electrical systems including power distribution, emergency power generation, SCADA controls systems, instrumentation, and integration with treatment equipment. Supply Package 40-1: Process Valves - Furnish all valves necessary for complete control of all process pipe risers and branch lines. All valves shall be suitable for the intended service conditions, compatible with conveyed fluids, and furnished with appropriate actuators, operators, and accessories as required for a complete and functional installation. Supply Package 43-2: Raw Lift Pumps (Dry Pit) - Furnish raw lift pump units sized for flow and head conditions, motors, baseplates, couplings, and all appurtenances required for a fully operational system. Pumps shall be suitable for dry pit installation and continuous duty handling of raw wastewater, including solids. Supply Package 46-1: Automatic Bar Screen- Furnish fully automatic mechanically cleaned stainless steel bar screen (approximately 2.5' wide with 25' discharge height, final design to be determined), complete with all accessories, for installation in the influent channel of the Headworks structure. Scope of supply shall also include one (1) screenings washer to convey screened solids into a dumpster. Supply Package 46-2: Grit Removal- Furnish a complete grit removal system including all equipment, controls, and accessories necessary for efficient removal and handling of inorganic solids. Scope of supply shall include vortex grit removal system in a concrete chamber, grit pump, and a grit washing unit with conveyor. Supply Package 46-3: SBR Equipment (Including Associated Blowers) - Furnish a complete sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system for biological wastewater treatment in three (3) 50' by 141' tanks (final design to be determined), including all process equipment and controls required for a fully functional installation. The system shall include flow control and jet aeration manifolds, pneumatic flush-out, decanters, centrifugal dry pit pumps, blowers, waste sludge pumps, and valves. Supply Package 46-4: Digestion Equipment (Aeration & Blowers) - Furnish a complete system for process aeration and mixing of two (2) 40' diameter anaerobic digesters and one (1) 80' diameter sludge storage tank including blowers, aeration headers and lines, diffusers, and appurtenances. Supply Package 46-5: UV Equipment- Furnish a complete open-channel ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system including UV banks, UV lamp modules, ballasts/drivers, automatic cleaning systems, and all associated control panels and instrumentation. Pre-qualification requirements: Woodruff Construction, as Construction Manager at Risk, will collect Subcontractor Qualification Statements and apply objective prequalification criteria to evaluate them, following Chapter 26A of Iowa Public Bidding Law on Guaranteed Maximum Price Contracts.
