Scope of Services The services indicated below shall include, but not be limited to the following: 1. Develop concept plans. 2. HazMat Survey 3. Schematic phase submission & cost estimate 4. Project bid assistance and contract administration Construction scope includes upgrade HVAC system to expand cooling to the Art Wing of Fine Arts Building. Renovation may include the replacement of Air Handling Units HV-2 and AC-4(with one unit); expansion of the chilled water distribution; and upgrades building automation system from pneumatic to digital controls. The State University of New York at Oneonta is seeking qualifications from design firms/teams for the design and construction administration of the upgrade HVAC system to expand cooling to the Art Wing of Fine Arts Building. Renovation may include the replacement of Air Handling Units HV-2 and AC-4(with one unit); expansion of the chilled water distribution; and upgrades building automation system from pneumatic to digital controls. Background Fine Arts is a 101,260 gross square foot reinforced concrete building constructed in 1968. The building is 4 floors including basement level used mostly for storage; mechanical and electrical rooms. The building houses the Music Department, the Art Department, the Theater Department, classrooms, an art gallery, and two performance theaters. The building is in fair condition.
