Renovation of a laboratory facility in Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
**As of September 25, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The State University of New York College at Oneonta is seeking qualifications from design firms/teams for the design and construction administration of laboratory renovations in the Perna Science building. The scope of work will include academic space planning, program study, laboratory renovations and modifications, mechanical modifications and upgrades to air conditioning systems, electrical, and plumbing upgrades. The building has been abated and does not contain hazardous materials. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 16% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 14% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: to May 2029 Renovate three lab spaces each approx.1,240sf, located on the first and third floors for the function of science instructional labs.The renovations will provide new laboratory casework, flooring, finishes and lighting. Complete HVAC Modifications to support the changes including upgrading the building to full air conditioning and dehumidification.
