Work of the contract is for the Matagorda County - Palacios Seawall Commission East Bay Park & Carl Park Boat Ramp Improvements which includes boat ramp improvements at East Bay Park in Palacios, Texas and at Carl Park off FM 521 in Matagorda County, Texas. Question Deadline 08/01/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of boat ramp improvements at East Bay Park in Palacios, Texas and at Carl Park off FM 521 in Matagorda County, Texas. Bidders must submit a bid bond, cashier's or certified check payable without recourse to the order of the Matagorda County - Palacios Seawall Commission, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds and guarantees in the forms provided within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of contract to him. Bids submitted without the required security will not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to purchase and furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. OWNER further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to be non-responsible.
