Renovation of a multi-residential development in Garfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
BASE BID FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REPLACEMENT AT BELMONT GARDENS, 377 MIDLAND AVENUE, GARFIELD, NEW JERSEY Each proposal shall be accompanied by a guarantee payable to the Housing Authority of the City of Garfield that, if a contract is awarded, the BIDDER shall enter into contract therefore, and shall furnish a Performance Bond (100%). The proposal guarantee shall be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, and shall be given, at the option of the BIDDER, by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The surety company for the bid bond (if applicable) and the surety company for the performance and payment bonds must be licensed in the State of New Jersey and must be approved by the Federal Treasury. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid or bids, to reject any and all bids, and to accept such bid or bids and to make such award(s) as may be in the best interest of the Owner. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information to Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 (sixty) days after the actual date of opening thereof.
