Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder s bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid, made payable to Logan Township. Certified checks or bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them upon selection of the successful bidder. A Performance Bond, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required to be submitted by the successful bidder upon award of a contract, unless otherwise specified. Each bid, and bid bond or certified check, along with the Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Public Works Employment and Verification Form shall be securely sealed in an envelope and clearly marked BEVERLY DRIVEINLET AND PIPE REPLACEMENT - CONTRACT 25-07 . The Logan Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any technical defects or bidding irregularities, and to award the contract as may be deemed by the Board to be inthe Township s best interest. No bidder may withdraw his bid until a period of forty-five (45) days following the date set for receiving bids. The Township reserves the right to hold any and all bids for a period of not more than forty-five (45) days, andall bids shall remain valid and in full force and effect during said period. Award will be made following the criteria in the bid packet.
