Wilson Park General and Site Construction Contract Project Location: 261 Rumson Drive in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Description of Work: Project involves complete renovation of Wilson Park. This will include the removal and demolition of selected site items. The city has removed some items in advance of the bidding process and the contractor must visit the site to confirm scope of work. Generally, demolition includes protection of existing trees and E&S measure installation and the removal of existing paved and concrete surfaces, fencing and fence post footers, above and below ground appurtenances, miscellaneous footers, trees and other vegetation, etc. necessary to install new play apparatus, play surfacing, prefabricated pavilion/buildings, new fencing, new stormwater infrastructure, raingardens, plumbing and electrical utilities, porous bituminous pavement and porous concrete pavement, and amenities/equipment provided by the owner or others. The site work, grading and stormwater improvements require E&S approval from Dauphin County Conservation District, which has been obtained, and the contractor will be required to sign on as a responsible party related to the site work and E&S control measures. The selected contractor will be required to coordinate efforts with the Plumbing and Electrical Contractors for the project as well as the installation of site amenities, equipment and prefabricated structures provided by others.
