Conduct study on the exterior structure of the PA House to document the condition of the brick, wood, columns, and roof. Scope Project to include: repairing, replacing, and painting trim, columns, overhangs, ceiling and bell tower; replace storm windows; and update lighting fixtures. Repoint/repair bricks on building and patio if needed. To re-route deliveries to the kitchen avoiding HVAC yard/piping. Scope Project for addition to kitchen back door to include a covered staging pad, ramp, delivery dock, access to current side road. Interior Projects- (first floor): Scope Project to include: removing existing wallpaper, hang new wallpaper and touch up paint. Replace carpet and stairs runners. Storage/Coat Closet Reconfiguration: removing interior closet shelving, and walls. Stairwell Railing Height Extension (Safety Issue): Request for design options and costs to raise the railing to current standards. Conference Center (second floor): Scope Project to include replacing current rear projection wall, to be able to install large wall monitor screens and related hardware by USFFC N6. Wall construction project which includes removing existing doors and screen. Rebuild wall and trim to support wall monitors, electric/power requirements and hardware. Update lighting in Conference room to LED fixtures with a central control in room. Reconfigure room behind screen to become a small meeting room. Replace carpet on entire 2nd floor. ADM Caudle, CUSFFC, has directed to commence with upgrades and modernizations to the G-29. The PA House is a cultural - historic landmark which needs extensive work to maintain the structural integrity, preservation and increase the functionality of the facility as a meeting/conference The project is included in the city's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
