The current location of the water intake barge at Callville Bay can provide drinking water to a Lake Mead elevation of 1075'. Completing this barge relocation will involve the rerouting and extension of existing raw water transmission lines, construction of a moored breakwater, replacement of electrical transformer by a 3rd party power provider, replacement of existing standby generator with new appropriately positioned generator, as well as the extension and up-sizing of existing electrical lines. Enhance existing service road to access new system equipment (generator, UV treatment unit). Removal/demolition of existing barge, pumps and motors and associated controls and replacement with a new barge, pumps, controls system. Installation of a UV raw water treatment system to counter the Quagga mussel infestation of Lake Mead. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
