Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids will be evaluated promptly after opening. After an award is made, a bid tabulation summary will be sent to all companies who submitted a bid. Bid results will not be given over the telephone or prior to award. Bids may be withdrawn any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids; no bid may be modified or withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days thereafter. 1.1 Contractor shall remove the existing sidewalk. 1.2 Contractor shall repair any sheet piling wall tiebacks as needed (welding/all thread bolted) 1.3 Contractor shall install new sub-base materials as specified in the plan set. 1.4 Contractor shall install new 8' wide sidewalk as specified in the plan set. 1.5 Contractor shall install new railings and gates as specified in the plan set. 1.6 Contractor shall do a rough grade, a final grade and seeding of all disturbed areas. 1.7 All slopes will be verified for ADA compliance using a 2' digital level. 1.8 Any work not meeting specifications shall be removed and re-installed until completed per specifications.
