The City of Meriden is seeking Contractor Services to Rehabilitate its WW1 Monument located on Broad Street The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid, and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Meriden. No bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. Question Deadline 07/10/2025 No request shall be honored if such request is made less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations, and any supplementary instructions, will be in the form of a written . Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this bid via the City eProcurement Portal. Scope:- The awarded contractor will provide granite backing for six (6) 125 lb bronze nameplates, various header plates and flute columns in accordance with the general conditions herein. Header plated attached to the granite (approximately 5 tons in weight) shall be placed upon the existing foundation base located at the Broad Street northernmost median. Any additional information shall be provided at the scheduled site inspection. The Contractor shall be responsible for all means and methods for the disposal of all material during and after this rehabilitation. Any permits shall also be the sole responsibility of the awarded contractor. All work will be conducted at a time mutually agreed upon at the Site Inspection.
