1. This project entails limited scope weatherization improvements to the Meriden Public Library located at 105 Miller Street, Meriden, Connecticut 06450. The purpose of the project is to address random water penetration through exterior building assemblies. 2. The Meriden Public Library is a 53,000 SF two story structure. The original 45,000 SF building was built in 1973 and an 8,000 SF addition was completed in 2023. The 2023 addition was designed by TSKP Studio Architects and built by Montagno Construction at a cost of approximately $13,200,000. The entire roof was replaced as part of the 2023 renovation, modernization and expansion project.
