Construction of, Variable Thickness Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, 7" and 9" Concrete Pavements, Concrete Traffic Island, Variable Thickness Concrete Base, 6" Concrete Base, Pavement Grinding, Concrete Curb and Gutter, Concrete Curb Pedestrian, 5" and 7" Concrete Walks, Detectable Warning Field, Pavement Sawing, Various Pavement Markings, Gravel Filling, Concrete Removals, Sodding and Topsoil, Engineering Soil, Sewer Work, Water Work, Etc.; Tiefenthaler Park: West Galena Street - North 24th Place to North 34th Street West Cherry Street - North 24th Street to North 26th Street North 24th Street - West Cherry Street to West Galena Street King Park: North 17th Street - West Highland Avenue to West Walnut Street West Juneau Avenue - North 14th Street North Callahan Place North 14th Street - West Juneau Avenue to West Vliet Street Time for Completion: All work on this contract shall be completed by October 17, 2025 Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1000.00/Day The SMWBE/LSA requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The SMWBE/LSA Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SMWBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SMWBE/LSA Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive. The State of Wisconsin Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) id Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier s Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor s Base Bid. For those bids being submitted through Bid Express and using a manual Bond, the contractor may send a signed/executed copy of the bid bond to the Department of Public Works Contract Office by emailing DPWbids@milwaukee.gov The contractor shall specifically note the SMWBE/LSA and apprenticeship forms for this project. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid. All Contractors awarded a contract valued at $25,000.00 or more are required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee s B2GNow contract compliance software within 30 days of the contract award date.
