As of August 8, 2025 Project has not been awarded, No definite date for award Septic to Sewer Phase II - B: The Project is located within the Town of Orange Park, Florida. The work will take place on 10 property parcels, primarily residential lots, which are being converted from septic tanks to simplex grinder pump lift stations for connection to the Town's sanitary sewer system. The Town intends to Owner Direct Purchase the specified pump station for each location for the contractor to install as part of the contract. This portion of the project will include installation and testing of 9 pump stations. The major work elements include, but are not limited to, the following: a. Install individual wastewater pump stations. b. Install pump station control panels including all electrical connections. c. Disconnect sanitary sewer from existing septic tank and reconnect to new pump stations. d. Install and connect sanitary force main from pump station to constructed connection points. e. Pressure test installed force mains and pump stations. f. Decommission existing septic tanks and drain fields. g. Return sites to existing conditions. Bidders must submit with the Bid documentation that they have constructed similar type work completed during the past five years with references. Each bidder must include a resume and qualifications for their proposed on-site supervision superintendent. Said Superintendent shall have maintained continuous employment with bidder for a minimum of three years. The bidders will be required to submit a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid with their Proposal. Each bid proposal shall remain binding for at least 90 days after the scheduled bid date. Once awarded, the bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds covering the total cost of the project including a Surety accepted by the Owner. The Owner shall reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor formalities, and any that are in any way incomplete or irregular. The Owner further reserves the right to reject all bids/proposals and re-advertise, or to reject all bids/proposals without further action and award the bid/proposal that serves the Owner's best interest, not necessarily the lowest bid.
